Biography

Melissa McDuffie has several decades of experience teaching students and people to understand themselves and others better; she had done this as a college teacher, a counselor, and a consultant. She loves what she does and it shows in the classroom! Melissa has some of the highest student satisfaction scores for her teaching of any of our Professors.

The students who do best in her classes are those who focus on how to apply psychological thinking and principles to understanding their own lives and their surrounding world. You might meet her in a Introduction to Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, or Applied Psychology: Counseling Skills class.

Melissa enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, camping and reading. Here Melissa is seen doing one of her favorite past-times, story-reading for children.
