Here, you’ll mature as a graphic designer, mastering the basics of form, color, typography, photography, layout, and motion graphics. Our project-based approach will build your skills and portfolio as you work toward a career of creating designs that will promote, inspire and educate.
Experienced faculty will work closely with you, empowering you to communicate the important ideas of your generation through media ranging from traditional print to emerging modes.
You will graduate with the ability to solve creative challenges, work confidently with relevant software, manage projects and contribute to a creative team. Champlain Graphic Design & Digital Media graduates have become successful independent freelancers or gone to work for established graphic design studios, Web design firms, advertising agencies, in-house design departments, and employers like Jager DiPaolo Kemp, Kelliher Samets Volk, Propeller Media Works, Spike Advertising, Fuse Marketing, Red Bull New England, Burton Snowboards, and many more.
ADMISSION PREREQUISITE: PORTFOLIO REVIEW
- Intern at internationally known companies, like Jager DiPaolo Kemp, Burton, Rome Snowboard Design, or Select Design, among many other organizations—including those in the not-for-profit sector.
- Receive intensive personal support from a devoted faculty that provides teaching excellence, professional knowledge and attentive advising.
