Cyber Defense Competition (NECCDC)

Champlain College was proud to host the Northeast Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (NECCDC) on March 18-20, 2022.

This competition pits some of the best collegiate student teams to protect and defend their environments against a 'red team' of professional hackers. The venue consists of two full days of competition, a "Coaches Conference," and an awards ceremony with plenty of friendly competition and professional opportunities for the next generation of cyber professionals.

The NECCDC competition tests each team's ability to operate, secure, manage, and maintain a corporate network. This competition creates, as closely as possible, a realistic corporate administration and security experience—giving competitors a chance to compare their education and training against their peers and the real-world challenges that await them.
