Six Game-Specific Majors

Why study game development at Champlain?

Champlain was one of the first colleges to develop a Game Design degree, and it remains one of the most respected and established programs in the country. The Game Studio at Champlain College is years ahead of other programs in understanding how to cultivate highly employable game developers who possess the right mix of experience and skills game companies are seeking in their hires.

Champlain is the only college in the country that

  • offers SIX PROGRAMS OF STUDY IN THE GAME INDUSTRY:

  • brings students together to work as a team in our Game Studio, giving them relevant experience in the same collaborative environment they will encounter in leading game industry studios and workplaces;
  • and provides students the opportunity to learn and be immersed in the game industry at our campus in Montreal, Canada—the game capital of North America and one of the largest game development centers in the world.
