Ski & Ride Opportunities

The East's best skiing and riding resorts are from less than to just over an hour's drive from campus: Sugarbush, Stowe Mountain Resort, Bolton Valley Resort, and Smuggler's Notch.

Champlain Students Ski and Ride Sugarbush for $30.

Champlain wants to help you experience the many joys of living in Vermont, two of these being skiing and boarding. With the Sugarbush Pass, you'll hit the slopes after only a 45-minute drive from campus.

The Sugarbush ski resort is divided into two mountain areas. The Champlain College Student pass will allow access to Mt. Ellen, one of the few mountains in Vermont to exceed 4,000 feet. Mt. Ellen is primarily made up of intermediate trails. It does have a range of trails, however, from a beginner skill level all the way up to three expert level double-diamond runs.

Students also have the option to upgrade their season pass to the $125 all-access pass to Lincoln Peak and Mt. Ellen.  For more information about Sugarbush, click here!

Student Activities also has monthly trips to other mountains, including transportation and day passes for a great deal. Other mountains that we've had trips to include:
