Game Art Career Talk With Epic Games Alumni (CAREERtalk)

Join Game Art alumni Alex Mannion (Technical Artist at Epic Games) and Katrina Mason (Character Artist) for a virtual career talk focused on breaking into and growing within the game art industry. This session is especially valuable for students interested in environmental art, technical art, character art, props, and hard surface modeling, offering real-world advice from alumni currently working in the field.

Earlier in the day, Alex and Katrina will be hosting portfolio reviews (separate event – see Joann Patel for details)—this evening’s talk builds on that momentum with broader career insights and guidance. This talk will focus on general career advice and portfolio development. Speakers will not be discussing proprietary work or specific projects from Epic Games.
