Do you try your best to put yourself in your students’ shoes when advising them? When it comes to their college search, we’re giving you the chance to do just that — including the option to sleep in one of our residence halls!
Our Counselor Connection is a special event just for school counselors and college advisors, designed to help you network and talk shop, get to know Champlain College, and check out the ultimate college town: Burlington, Vermont! Kick things off with an optional welcome reception on July 23, followed by a full day of activities on July 24, 2026.
DURING YOUR VISIT, YOU’LL:
- Take a tour of our beautiful campus and cutting-edge experiential learning spaces
- Dine with our deans and hear from President Alex Hernandez about his vision for Champlain’s future
- Learn about our flexible, career-focused majors and how we prepare students for successful careers in emerging industries
- [Optional] Stay overnight in one of our contemporary residence halls after the welcome reception on July 23 — bring a guest to share the experience
