The Free and Open Tech Collective (FOTC) is a group of students who explore and educate others about the power of Free and Open Source Software and hardware projects. Past projects have included:
– Writing and distributing a Zine (small booklet) that discussed being safe at protests and reducing your reliance on closed-source software.
– Building a Beowulf compute cluster
– Setting up an Amateur Radio station on campus, exploring decentralized forms of communication.
We meet every week in CCM 221 from 5:30-7:30 PM, come visit!
