Walk together toward justice.
Join us for a guided walk across campus, stopping at meaningful locations to reflect on Dr. King’s legacy and vision for beloved community. Each stop features readings, reflections, and conversation exploring different dimensions of Dr. King’s work and its connection to today.
Route Highlights:
- Start at Fireside Lounge: Grab coffee, hot cocoa, hand warmers, and make/take signs with messages of hope and resilience
- Stop 1: Samuel de Champlain Statue: The journey toward justice begins
- Stop 2: Perry Lawn: Opening doors and welcoming all
- Stop 3: Finney Quad: Interconnected justice and intersectionality
- Stop 4: Aiken Lawn: Knowledge as power; continuing the work
- Finish at the Champlain Room: Celebrate with music, food, open mic, and community.
Dress warmly. Bring your voice. Walk toward change.
The route is planned with accessibility in mind. All are welcome.
