- February 25 @ 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm
- FREE
Please join us for a workshop with the Adams Center, a local mental health treatment practice that specializes in treating Eating Disorders. The workshop will explore the impact of eating disorders across different backgrounds and communities. We will also have a calming bracelet-making activity during the workshop. All Champlain community members are welcome to attend.
Eating disorders affect 30 million Americans in their lifetime. They impact EVERY BODY, across all backgrounds and communities, yet it often takes years for people to recognize and seek help. Eating disorders have devastating mental and physical consequences but are too often overlooked due to a lack of understanding, myths about who can experience them, and a lack of accessible, quality, culturally responsive resources.
This workshop fulfills the DaretoCARETalk InSight Milestone.
