WGC CHATS (Women’s & Gender Center-Community. Healing. Activism. Teaching. Solidarity.) is an interview series where students will have the opportunity to learn from community members about their careers, how they got to where they are now, and how their marginalized identities challenged and strengthened them throughout their career journey. Each session will start out with the WGC Coordinator interviewing the guest and then it will be opened up to student questions.
About Taraleigh (she/her): Taraleigh wears a lot of hats! She is a life coach, workshop facilitator, speaker, event host, yoga instructor, musician, dancer, former NBA cheerleader, former podcaster, and author of the book How to Rock Your Life. But whatever she’s doing, she does it with ADHD SPARKLE! In collaboration with DARE to Care, each of these sessions will be aligned with our monthly wellness themes. January’s theme is Academic Wellness. As someone who has ADHD and works with others with ADHD, Taraleigh has creative ideas about how to get organized, stay motivated, and take care of oneself.
