WGC CHATS (Women’s & Gender Center-Community. Healing. Activism. Teaching. Solidarity.) is an interview series where students will have the opportunity to learn from community members about their careers, how they got to where they are now, and how their marginalized identities challenged and strengthened them throughout their career journey. Each session will start out with the WGC Coordinator interviewing the guest and then it will be opened up to student questions.
Gem Raff is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a dancer, and manager for Odyssey Teen Camp! He received his Master’s Degree in Social Work from UVM and has started TWO LLC’s, one for his therapy services, and one for life coaching services which use dance as a medium for helping his clients work through their problems. He is also part of a local dance troupe called Merde which performs every year at the Vermont Burlesque Festival and the Winter is a Drag Ball. In collaboration with DARE to Care, each of these sessions will be aligned with our monthly wellness themes. March’s theme is Mental Health.
