Experience Champlain at its most authentic with a full weekend that kicks off on Friday night with Burton Winter Jam, followed by our comprehensive Open House on Saturday.

Friday, February 20: Burton Winter Jam

Start your winter wonderland weekend off the right way and join us for Burton Winter Jam, an annual rail jam event hosted right here on campus. Watch riders compete, experience the winter tradition and culture that defines our community, and see what makes Champlain different.

Saturday, February 21: Winter Open House

This Winter Open House isn’t your typical campus tour. This is Champlain at its peak—a snowy campus, innovative at its core, and a community that actually gets you.

Here’s what you can expect:

• Tour our (hopefully) snow-covered campus and iconic Victorian-era residence halls
• Learn how we do hands-on learning differently at Champlain, with opportunities to participate in co-ops, local internships, and international internships.
• Explore how 30 flexible elective credits built into every major allow you to design a college experience that’s totally, 100% you!
• Get a glimpse into the real projects, startups, and creative endeavors our students are actively working on, and discover the support available for you to launch yours
• Check out our world-class facilities, like our Leahy Center for Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics, Sound Stage, Cyber Range, and maker labs.
• Chat with current students and faculty, and explore majors that best align with your interests
• Get answers to your questions about academics, financial aid, campus life, and student resources
