About Us

Transportation at Champlain College, including parking, shuttles, walking and biking, is managed by the Sustainable Transportation Coordinator, Eliana Fox. Eliana is a year round bike commuter and enjoys helping others learn how they can incorporate sustainable transportation into their daily lives, whether they walk, bike, ride the bus, or use micro-mobility. This position currently reports to Nic Anderson, the Senior Director of Planning and Operations, and works in close collaboration with the Director for Service & Sustainability Learning.


  • Silver Bicycle Friendly University Designation - Awarded by the League of American Bicyclists. We are now part of an elite group of only 45 institutions in the country that are designated a Silver or higher BFU and only the second to be awarded a BFU designation in the State of Vermont.
  • Way To Go! Commuter Challenge (Large Business Award Winner 2016 and 2008; Carbon Throwdown Winner 2016 against Sevent Generation; Honorable Mention for Large Employer in 2011, 2012, 2013; Campus Winner 2013)
