The Student Government Association funds a myriad of clubs on campus and supports other student projects, initiatives and opportunities through grant funding. You can learn more about the funding available from the SGA by consulting our website or contacting us directly via firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Student Government Association meets each week to discuss opportunities to support students in thriving both academically and socially on the Champlain College campus and beyond. We communicate routinely with President Laackman to keep him aware of what we are doing and what we hear as prevailing concerns and requests from the student body. Our student government's members additionally serve alongside faculty and staff as members of college committees that discuss curriculum, the college calendar, the campus store, diversity and inclusion, sustainability, transportation and community engagement.
If you have questions about our work or suggestions of where we might support the projects and interests of the student body, stop by Hearthstone (IDX 313) to chat with us or reach out via email to start a conversation!
