Marketing Minor


In today's rapidly evolving media landscape, marketing is a dynamic and exciting field. We must constantly be adding to our arsenal of media options as they become available and we must choose the most effective platforms for any given communication. If you are interested in learning how to stay on top of the ever-evolving methods of marketing, Champlain's Marketing minor is perfect for you.

Upon completing the Marketing minor, you will be able to:

  • Understand why marketing is a vital part of business
  • Manage the marketing process and create value for the organization and all stakeholders
  • Demonstrate multi-channel communication skills including oral, written, audio/visual, and digital communication
  • Apply consumer behavioral theories in projects and live case studies
  • Integrate customer relationship concepts and theory into planning and recommendations for business
  • Evaluate and assess the legal and ethical ramifications of your actions and decisions

MKT 110 or BUS 120 must be completed with a grade of C or better in order to declare the Marketing minor.
