Continuing its nearly 140-year-old tradition of agility and relevance, the Robert P. Stiller School of Business at Champlain College offers outstanding degree programs in the country's hottest and most profitable areas of business.
Each major features extensive hands-on learning opportunities through marketplace practice projects, simulations and case studies, as well as fantastic internship opportunities. You can also further customize your major with the highly marketable skill sets you'll develop through business specializations and minors from across the College.
You'll also have tremendous opportunity to experience professional settings through internships at businesses in Burlington, Vermont; Montreal, Canada; Dublin, Ireland; and beyond, as well as through the Build Your Own Business (BYOBiz) entrepreneurial program.

Accountants are needed in virtually every field. This robust major specifically positions you for versatility and growth in your career and across industries. You will learn the skills necessary to work as an accountant, as well as the communication and critical thinking skills needed to advance in the field. We also offer a double major in Accounting and Finance.
The employer-informed curriculum of this flexible major, which focuses on applied, hands-on learning, will give you a broad-base of business skills including traditional and time-tested business practices as well as a thoughtful foundation in corporate social responsibility, organizational development and innovation.
Our Finance major is recognized as a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) University Affiliated program, which is one of the most respected and recognized investment credentials in the world. Taught by professors who have worked on Wall Street as investment bankers, research analysts and portfolio managers, this ambitious major offers a hands-on approach in which you’ll use the same tools used by professionals.
One of the few degrees of its kind in the country, this major will teach you how to organize, motivate and oversee groups of game artists, designers and programmers. You'll gain insight into the ways these creative people develop ideas for games and learn to effectively collaborate to bring games to life. You’ll graduate a smart game-industry strategist and business manager.
Develop analytical frameworks to examine the socioeconomic and cultural forces and issues that affect any international endeavor. Learn to identify international target-market opportunities and challenges, develop import-export strategies, and build short- and long-term business plans for international growth. You can even apply to intern in Shanghai, China, through the Freeman Grant.
This in-demand major combines the areas of business, entrepreneurship and management with the conscious application of creativity, design thinking, innovation and change management. You’ll become a creative and resourceful problem solver with entrepreneurial expertise, effective management techniques and collaborative communication skills.
Taught by marketing leaders and built on a solid foundation of marketing principles and consumer behavior, this fluid program offers up-to-date best practices in the latest communication platforms. Explore an an ever-changing media landscape, plan and implement campaigns, and learn how to reach consumers and motivate them to act.
