Every season is beautiful in Vermont, which means there's never a bad time to attend an Open House at Champlain College.

All of our Open House events offer prospective students the opportunity to learn about degree programs, talk to faculty members and admissions team members, and explore the Champlain campus and city of Burlington. Open House events include campus tours, information sessions, complimentary lunch, and more.

Saturday Fall Open House Events

You are not one-dimensional; your education shouldn't be, either. Our career-focused majors and future-focused education will ensure you are ready for work, ready for life, and ready to make a difference in the world. Plus, the views from campus will blow your mind.

Come meet the Champlain family, learn about our admissions process, chat with students and faculty about our career-focused education, and catch the Champlain vibe. You can even apply while you are here by submitting our accelerated application (no application fee!).

Game Career Exploration Event

Interested in a career in the booming game industry? Then you should definitely come to our Game Career Exploration Event the day before our October Fall Open House.

This is your chance to get a look at the variety of career opportunities in the industry—and the skills you'll need to land those jobs. You will learn the difference between what it takes to be a game artist versus a game designer versus a game programmer. You'll also discover the various career paths on the business side of the industry.

MONDAYS – SATURDAYS ALL FALL

Information Sessions & Campus Tours

If you can't make it this fall to one of our Open House events, we strongly encourage you to come for an Information Session and a Student-Led Campus Tour. Come to campus for a weekday or weekend visit and learn why the 2024 Fiske Guide to Colleges considers Champlain one of the "best and most interesting schools" in the United States, Canada, and Great Britain.

What to Expect

While each Champlain College Open House event is a little different, at every event you will:

Take a campus tour with a current student and see spots like the Miller Information Commons, the IDX Student Center, and our academic Centers of Experience
Check out one of our Victorian-era residence halls
Learn about our Upside-Down Curriculum, Academic Divisions, and offered Majors & Programs
Explore our Core Curriculum and take part in an interactive Core activity
Attend an Information Fair and chat with representatives from Housing & Residential Life, the Office of Diversity & Inclusion, Champlain Esports, and more
Take in the wonderful views (be sure to tag @champlainedu in your photos and use the hashtag #ChampVisit)
