CHAMP (Champlain Has Activities and Motivational Programming) is a student-run organization that plans and creates a number of notorious and beloved substance-free events on campus each semester.

Students Posing for a Group PictureSpirit Week kicks off the fall semester with hall decorating contests, costume competitions, themed crafts, movie marathons and a grand carnival that includes unique activities, great music and free food. CHAMP creates a Halloween spectacular each year as well, and the semester soon comes to a close with Late-Night Breakfast, a food-filled extravaganza meant to celebrate the end of fall classes.

 Students playing Hungry HipposWhen life on campus resumes for the spring semester, Snowball draws hundreds of elegantly dressed Champlain students to the ballroom of the Hilton for an evening of dancing & dining. Mr. Champlain, a satirical beauty pageant open to students of all gender identities, follows in the late spring for immense entertainment and Spring Meltdown is the year's grand finale, filling Finney Quad with inflatables, music, endless mounds of free food and fantastic prizes.

All students are welcome to participate in CHAMP meetings and to volunteer as staff for CHAMP's events. CHAMP meets Monday nights in the Fireside Lounge at 8:30pm
