Career Outcomes Six Months Post-Graduation for Class of 2025 Graduates
According to the National Association for Colleges and Employers (NACE) — the preeminent national organization focused on the employment of the college educated — Champlain outperforms every national and regional employment category. Plus, our graduates participate in data collection at a significantly higher rate, so our employment outcome rates are more representative of the entire class.

Within 6 months of graduation, 89% of the Class of 2025 achieved Career Success: 82% were employed (84% of those in career-relevant positions and 7% pursuing continuing education).
Average Starting Salary = $55,124
For the Class of 2025, the average starting salary was $55,124. Twenty two of those who responded to the employment survey received sign-on bonuses with the average sign-on bonus amount of $8,688.
Higher Than National Average
While many schools tout their “outcome rates,” it’s important to understand what that data is based on.
For our 2025 Career Outcomes Report, our knowledge rate was 77% (percentage of information that’s verified). The national knowledge rate for the Class of 2024 is 55%. What does this mean? Our Career Outcome data is significantly more accurate than the national average.
Real-World Experience: 93%
In the Class of 2025, 93% had an internship/experiential learning opportunity on or off campus. 59% had two or more such experiences.
58% of All Internships Were Paid
For Class of 2025, 58% of internships were paid; 37% were for course credit.

41% of the Class of 2025 remained right here in Vermont after graduation. 29% in other locations in the North East. 28% in the U.S. outside the Northeast, and 2% are located internationally.
