Congratulations! Applying to college is a big milestone in life. We have provided the information you need about how to apply to Champlain College in this section; we even have this helpful list of frequently asked questions and answers.

If you come to a point where you need help, just let us know—our team of experienced admission counselors is here to help! To make the process easier for you, we are a test-optional school, and there is no application fee.

We Are a Test-Optional School

Champlain is a test-optional school. What does that mean to you as an applicant? If you would like us to consider your standardized test scores, by all means, feel free to include them with your submitted application. If you would rather us consider your application without them, we are happy to do that as well.

Personal Interviews Are Wonderful!

You can tell a lot about people by simply speaking with them. We encourage virtual Personal Interviews for high school seniors and transfer students interested in applying to Champlain. The conversation is casual—it's like two friends getting to know one another.

But First, the FAFSA

To be considered for most sources of financial aid, you must first file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), a form used by most colleges and universities. The information you provide is then analyzed according to nationally standardized criteria to determine the extent of your financial need.

Don't wait until you receive your admission decision before filing the FAFSA; submit your FAFSA anytime after October 1, even if you have not completed your Champlain admissions application.

To ensure we receive your information, use Champlain's school code: 003684.
