Champlain Visit Scholarship

Overhead Shot of Campus

At Champlain, we believe that there is no substitute for coming to campus to understand what a college offers. We feel so strongly about this, we are offering a $4,000 scholarship to be applied toward tuition costs simply for experiencing a great day with us on our campus.

How it Works

Make an official campus visit to Champlain and receive a $4,000 scholarship toward the cost of your Champlain tuition—$1,000 for each year you are enrolled at Champlain.

An "official" campus visit means:

  • You have registered and attended a day-long campus event (like Fall Open House, Winter Open House, etc.), or
  • you have registered and attended one of our daily Information Sessions & Campus Tours at our campus in Burlington, Vermont, or
  • you've visited Champlain as part of a group visit arranged by a high school, or
  • you've attended one of the Champlain Pre-College Summer Programs.

That's it! If you come for a visit, we just need to make it "official" by knowing that you were here. (Sorry, unscheduled visits and off-campus interviews, receptions, or other events and meetings will not qualify.)

If you are admitted, your Champlain Visit Scholarship will be included in your financial aid award and will renew automatically each year that you are enrolled as a full-time student.

The Champlain Visit Scholarship is a part of our Count-On-It Financial Aid Guarantee, which means your scholarships from Champlain College will never go down as long as you are enrolled as a full-time student. We believe you should be able to count on your scholarships remaining consistent from year to year. Learn more about our financial aid guarantee.
