Senator Patrick Leahy Center for Digital Investigation (LCDI)

The Senator Patrick Leahy Center for Digital Investigation (LCDI) gives Computer & Digital Forensics majors and Computer Networking & Cybersecurity majors an unparalleled opportunity to work in a real digital forensics investigation lab. Students work alongside professional digital forensics investigators and law enforcement officials conducting current investigations.

The LCDI is a world-class laboratory designed to international standards. It is focused on establishing and assisting with public and private sector initiatives surrounding cybercrime, digital forensics, and information assurance. The LCDI provides computer forensics and digital investigation operational support, training, research, and other technical services to assist law enforcement agencies in Vermont and throughout the nation.

As a leader in the digital forensic higher education arena, Champlain College and the LCDI offer students an opportunity to gain a hands-on learning experience  by participating in professional-level lab work—at both the undergraduate and graduate levels—through internships and student employment.
