Why Minor in Project Management?

Every collaborative project needs someone who can keep the team organized, focused, and moving in the same direction.

The Project Management minor at Champlain College prepares you to be that person. You’ll learn how to lead cross-functional teams; manage tasks, deadlines, and schedules; communicate clearly across departments; and master project management frameworks like Scrum, Agile, Kanban, and Waterfall — all while keeping efficiency and team wellbeing at the center of how you work. You’ll also build project management skills in tracking metrics, developing strategies, and making data-driven decisions that move projects forward and achieve goals.

Relevant across all industries, the communications, critical thinking, problem-solving, team management, and analytics skills you pick up in this minor will serve you in any profession. Whether you’re leading strategic project management in technology, entertainment, business, or game production, you’ll graduate ready to be an ethical and effective leader in your chosen field.
