The Game Production Management major will provide you with a great depth in the specific skills that will give you the most flexibility in a changeable industry. Game companies are noticing our highly skilled Game Production Management students. In fact, this appreciation for Champlain's unique GPM major has led Vicarious Visions to open a summer internship exclusively for game producers.
As students within the Stiller School of Business at Champlain College, Game Production Management majors are eligible to apply for the School of Business' prestigious Freeman Foundation Asia Internship Grant. Over the last five years and courtesy of the grant, dozens of Game Production Management students have experienced life-changing internships with both Chinese and international gaming companies and studios, including internships at UbiSoft China.
Over the last three years, Champlain's Stiller School of Business has received a prestigious grant from the Freeman Foundation, allowing the College to send 25 students in 2015 to Shanghai, China to complete summer internships. Many of our students have studied and interned abroad in Montreal, Canada, an international center for game design and a major player in the game industry. Game Production Management students (as well as Management of Creative Media students specializing in Game Management) have gained invaluable experience through internships at companies which include testing, startups, indies, social and educational games, game incubators, content agencies and game developers.
