Snowstorm Slams Campus for Annual Rail Jam
Skiers and snowboarders took to Finney Quad to compete in the 16th Annual Champlain College Rail Jam.
An early November storm brought more snow to Finney Quad than Rail Jam has seen in recent years. Dozens of student skiers and riders hit the terrain on Thursday, November 14, ready to have some fun and claim their prizes.
Music blared as students crowded around the quad, bundled up in their best winter gear to fight the cold. The chilly temps didn’t deter students in our Division of Communication & Creative Media (CCM) either. Individuals in Keith Oppenheim’s broadcast class reported live from the event, interviewing both spectators and riders.
A special thanks goes out to Champlain Ski & Ride and Sugarbush Parks for organizing such a great event! Take a look at the below photos to see the action.
