The Animation major is a visual arts program focused on the creation of 2-D and 3-D art and animation for film, television, visual effects, and virtual production. To be successful, students must enter the program with a strong aesthetic ability and a passion for creating visual art using both traditional and digital media. As part of the application for admission into the Animation major, Champlain College requires the submission of a portfolio consisting of five files.

File your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by these dates to ensure that your financial aid award includes all of the institutional and federal aid you are eligible to receive. If you complete your FAFSA after these dates we will still determine all of your award eligibility, it will just take longer from the time you received your Admissions notification to get this information to you.
