The SMART (Study Mentors And Resource Tutors) Space is your headquarters for academic success. The resources and programs below are designed to help you meet your educational and career goals. 


SP22 Update, Academic Coaching: 

All Academic Coaching appointments will be held virtually through January 30. When you make an appointment, you will receive a Zoom link in their confirmation and reminder emails.

Academic coaches can work with you one-on-one to help you create personal plans for academic success. Coaches can help you manage your time, improve your study skills, advocate for yourself, build your reading comprehension, and stay on top of your assignments throughout the semester. SP22 Update, Tutoring Centers

All Academic Tutoring Centers will be open for in-person drop in sessions beginning on Sunday, January 30. If you need support prior to that date, please feel free to contact Lauren Bruneau (lbruneau@champlain.edu).

Peer tutors, recommended by Champlain faculty and trained by SMART Space staff, offer help with course content, homework assistance, and test preparation. Peer writing consultants provide writing support for all members of the Champlain community.

24/7 Online Tutoring - Smarthinking

In addition to the resources above provided by Champlain coaches and tutors, students can find online tutorials in math, business, writing, and the sciences, as well as a full range of study resources including writing manuals, sample problems, research tools, and study skills manuals at Smarthinking.
