Purchase Honey
Purchasing honey and our other apiary products puts funding back into this amazing campus initiative. The predominant tastes in our honey are floral, fresh fruit, mint, herbal, and citrus, making for a lovely honey flavor!
We have a limited release of honey each year and are pleased to be able to share the sweetness of the bees’ labor with you! This honey is harvested, bottled, labeled, and sold by our students and all proceeds go back to the bees.
In the fall semester, apiary staff and Eco-Reps will also sell honey and other products in the IDX atrium, especially before the holiday season!

Pure Raw Honey
The honey from the Champlain College Apiary is never heated, fine-filtered, or processed in any way. It is spun from the comb, poured into jars, and is as close to the hive as liquid honey gets. It is ready to sweeten your cooking, baking, beverages, and day! Most raw honey crystallizes and ours eventually will, too. This doesn’t compromise the flavor of the honey, but if you like it liquid, simply re-dissolve the crystals by bathing the jar in hot water.
Our bees live on campus and forage all over town, so you can enjoy the taste of Burlington with every spoonful!

Beeswax Lip Balm
Our lip balm combines beeswax, coconut oil, avocado oil, and shea butter with a light essential oil fragrance to protect, soothe, and smooth chapped lips.
Beeswax Body Balm
Body balm is a beeswax-based skin protector for your face, lips, hands, etc. Don’t go out in the cold without it!
Gift Bags
Burlap gift bag contains one 6 fl oz jar of honey (or two 3 fl oz jars of honey) and one beeswax body balm. The logo tag tells the story of the Champlain College Apiary.
