You can apply to Champlain College using the Common Application or the Champlain College Application. Both are free. Regardless of which you choose, all applications are considered equally. Please do not submit more than one application for admission.

If you’re interested in financial aid, you should apply for it when you apply for admission. Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) can be an important first step in financing your Champlain education. In fact, it is required if you want to be considered for one or more of our merit- and need-based institutional grants and scholarships.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the only financial aid application required by Champlain College in order to receive a financial aid award. That’s it! No extra scholarship applications. And although it’s optional, we highly recommend that you don’t wait for your admissions acceptance before applying for financial aid.
Champlain’s FAFSA code is 003684.
If you are applying to the Animation, Creative Media, Filmmaking, Game Art, Game Design, or Graphic Design & Visual Communication majors, please send us your portfolio.
Champlain College is a test-optional institution. Please indicate on your application if you would like us to consider your test scores. Official SAT or ACT scores are optional but recommended, especially if the applicant has completed fewer than 30 credits at the time of application.
Students who choose to submit test scores will use code 3291 for the College Board SAT and code 4298 for the ACT. SAT and ACT score reports must be sent to Champlain from the CollegeBoard and ACT websites, respectively.
