Sugarbush Pass: Hit the Slopes For Less

Champlain students ski and ride at Sugarbush for just $75 per year! Champlain wants to help you experience the many joys of living in Vermont—naturally, that includes skiing and snowboarding. With the Sugarbush Pass, you’ll hit the slopes after only a 45-minute drive from campus.

The Sugarbush ski resort is divided into two mountain areas. The Champlain College Student pass grants access to Mt. Ellen, one of the few mountains in Vermont to exceed 4,000 feet. Mt. Ellen is primarily made up of intermediate trails, but it does range from a beginner skill level all the way up to three expert level double-diamond runs. Students also have the option to upgrade to the $200 all-access pass that includes Lincoln Peak as well as Mt. Ellen. Visit the Sugarbush website to learn more about the mountain!

In the cold months, I try to get out to Sugarbush as much as possible to ski. Burlington itself has so much to offer, but neighboring Vermont towns expand the options tenfold. Vermont’s natural beauty year-round is one of the top reasons I went to Champlain.
