Give that warm Champlain welcome to our new students!
Orientation Leaders (OLs) are student leaders who play a HUGE role in welcoming the incoming class to Champlain during New Student Orientation in August. Help build a sense of community and belonging among first-year and transfer students. OLs lead events such as the Lake Champlain boat cruise, bowling party, and fun in the Student Life Center, featuring The Grind. OLs also head smaller orientation groups to guide students through the first days of college. Serve as an approachable resource and provide information to new students about campus and student life, where to find campus resources, and where to go for orientation events. Celebrate the beginning of a new chapter with our new Champlain College students!
There is also an opportunity for OLs to welcome new students during spring New Student Orientation in January.
Orientation Leaders are paid and selected through an application and interview process. Applications open at the beginning of spring semester. Be on the lookout for information!
Play, produce, compete, and win with Champlain Esports. With opportunities for students of all ability levels and interests, there's never been a better time to join the team.
The East's best skiing and riding resorts are just around the corner. Between 35 minutes and an hour's drive from campus, you'll find Sugarbush, Stowe Mountain Resort, Bolton Valley Resort and Smuggler's Notch.
Get a leg up on managing teams, seeing the bigger picture of your work, and keeping an organization on track to operate smoothly by stepping into a leadership role.
From satire to fine arts to news and features, our student-run publications bring together creative talents from across the college.
