When it comes to junior designer positions, a portfolio from a BFA graduate is more likely to be viewed—and received more positively—than a portfolio from someone who holds a BS degree. Champlain's BFA program in Graphic Design & Visual Communication sets you up for success by providing four years of expert instruction and diverse work experiences.
You'll be immersed in visual design starting in your first semester; you'll graduate with a portfolio of work that you'll be proud to show potential clients or employers. Along with an outstanding education in graphic and visual communication design, you'll gain the skills to advocate for yourself professionally and adapt to an ever-changing field.
The program name change to Graphic Design & Visual Communication went into effect Fall 2021.
Our Application Dashboard allows you to monitor the status of your application and determine if you have any outstanding requirements. If you do not already have an account for our Dashboard, please create one using the same email address you used when applying.
