Campus Safety

Our campus is our community and maintaining safety and security for all students, faculty, staff, and visitors is our highest priority.

The Public Safety Office provides comprehensive services to prepare for, prevent, and respond to a variety of safety and security situations including extreme weather, pandemic illness, burglary, and violence on campus. Public safety officers patrol the campus 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and on-campus emergency call boxes connect you directly to rapid response teams.

To keep all members of our campus community informed, we've implemented a comprehensive Alert Notification System in the event of emergency evacuation, weather-related campus closures, or other situations requiring rapid mass communication.

Do your part to keep Champlain safe and healthy by staying involved and informed.

Dedicated to working with our partners to foster and maintain a safe, respectful, and resilient environment in which to live, learn, and work.
