Meghan Broughton

Biography

Meghan graduated from Champlain in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Her love of organizing and tending to fine details lends well to managing curriculum and on-campus classroom assignments. If you’re lucky, you will find Meghan spending her free time reading her way through a Sisyphean TBR. If you’re unlucky, she will be explaining, in extreme detail, the cultural impact of “Twilight.”

Kevin Duerr

Biography

Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science in Developmental Psychology in 2013 from SUNY Brockport and a Master of Science in Higher Education & Student Affairs Administration in 2015 from SUNY Buffalo State University. In 2017, Kevin started working at Champlain College in Residential Life. In January 2019, he shifted to the Registrar’s Office where he has been since. When he’s not working, Kevin enjoys playing hockey, camping with his wife, and playing multiple instruments.

What are your hobbies?

Hockey, music, camping, cooking.

Amy Eastman

Biography

Amy Eastman is the Senior Academic Specialist for the School of Social Innovation, the Division of Information Technology and Sciences, the Degree Design Lab, and for General Undeclared students. Amy has worked at Champlain College since 2018 and has over 20 years of experience working as a college academic advisor. She holds a master’s degree in Counseling and College Student Personnel from Eastern Michigan University.

Jennifer Stockwell

Biography

Jenn Stockwell has been with the college since August 2008 and has held positions with Champlain College Online and the Registrar’s Office. She has experience in Academic Advising, adult education, transfer students, and her current role includes supporting the team of Academic Specialists. Prior to joining Champlain College, she worked for 10 years at Vermont Student Assistance Corporation (VSAC) counseling students and families on the topics of planning and paying for college.

Jenn has a Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of Vermont and is passionate about access to education and student advocacy.

What are your hobbies?

Camping, hiking, downhill skiing, walking the dog, traveling, eating maple creemees

Favorite local eateries and things to do in Vermont:

I love to be outside and enjoy all the seasons in Vermont. Some favorites are camping – we love all the State Parks, but Half Moon is a favorite. In the winter we love to ski at Smuggler’s Notch. When we eat out, my first choice is always the Jericho Cafe and Tavern.
